AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF OMCL
· To promote the game of cricket at the senior’s level to create a healthy and active lifestyle for participants.
· To Strive to get senior cricketers involved in the game of cricket on the playing fields, in administration, coaching and mentoring.
· To keep senior cricketers active and healthy both physically and mentally
· Facilitate equal participation in cricket activities domestically and internationally.
OMCL shall strive to always promote multiculturalism, diversity and inclusiveness within the cricket fraternity in Ontario.
The Ontario Masters Cricket League (OMCL) is the provincial Not-for-Profit organization in Ontario, tasked with the mission of developing and promoting seniors’ cricket in Ontario.
We provide the best Facilities in Ontario for players from age group's Over 40 upwards to continue to play cricket.
OMCL is hosting Canada's first Inter-Provincial Tournament - June 23rd to June 27th at 3 venues - In Mississauga at Danville & Courtney Park and Brampton 407/Dixie Sportsp Complex.
OMCL has also entered a team in the Ramblers Masters League (weekend Games) and Markham T10 league.
Seniors Cricket is Uniting with several leagues around Ontario and joining together to form a strong base of senior cricketers.
