Each Team will bat 2 Hours & 30 Mins. (150 Minutes)
Water Break of Innings to be 5 Mins and Players must NOT leave the ground and stay inside the 30 Yard Circle and arrange with the opponents to bring water on to the Field.
Team batting First - 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm.
15 Minutes Break between Innings.
Food/Lunch to be taken so as not to delay the game.
Team batting second - 5.45 pm to 8.15 pm.
For time saving purposes - each team will bowl 10 overs each from one end and switch ends. (10+10+10+5).
Time Per Over to be Calculated at 4 Minutes Per Over. (This allows an extra 10 minutes per side for Lost Balls Etc,. During play without being penalized).
Overs per team Reduced for Weather and/or undue delays by using a calculation of 4 Minutes Per Over.
Home teams will be responsible for laying 30 yard marker and placing stumps.
Both Teams have to be responsible for Placing & removing Covers in case of rain.
Rules & Penalties
Each team will be allowed to Declare 14 Players per game.
If teams are short of players - The Captain must Inform OMCL coordinator at least 2 days in advance. OMCL coordinator will request availability from other teams and will allocate players accordingly.
Teams can Claim toss if at least 7 players are not in whites and ready to play at time of toss, which shall be 15 minutes before game start time.
Only Players from Team roster allowed for Playoff's.
Only 11 players declared before game starts will be allowed to Bat while any of the 14 can bowl.
There will be NO free hits for No Balls.
Batsman must Retire after scoring 50 runs or faces 72 balls whichever comes first. Batsman can only return at the fall of the 9th wicket.
Regular wide ball rule will be followed.
Maximum of 6 Overs per Bowler Only Allowed.
There will be NO Powerplays and at all times there has to be a minimum of 4 players inside 30 Yard Circle. (Excluding Bowler and Wicket Keeper).
For Teams failing to bowl the determined number of overs in the allocated time, there will be a penalty of 10 runs per over.
If more than 10 minutes per team is lost due to Lost Ball - umpire will use 4 minutes per over and reduce the game accordingly without penalty to team bowling.
Example; 16 minutes lost - game reduced to 33 Overs from 35 (16-10 = 6 extra minutes rounded up to 2 overs).
